Compare indoor meeting pods

Two to six people

Start with the number of people who need to sit together: Duo and Team for two, Meet for four, or Max for six. Furniture layout, equipment and clearances determine how that capacity works in your office.

For a single person taking calls, compare Solo and Solo Plus phone booths. All models on this page are indoor acoustic pods.

The model most people miss

2300 × 966 mm

The Team is 2300 mm wide and 966 mm deep. The Duo is 1600 mm wide and 1375 mm deep. Both seat two people, but the internal proportions and furniture layout differ.

Keep the door swing, ventilation clearances, walkways and exits clear. The pod footprint alone is not the total space required; check the proposed layout with your building manager before ordering. Compare the Duo and Team layouts before choosing a narrow position.

Standard on every pod

Nothing here is an upsell
FocusPod continuous ventilation system
01

Ventilation sized for a full room

Up to 218 m³/h on a Meet and 327 m³/h on a Max, changing the air roughly every two minutes. It also runs a five-minute exchange every half hour when empty, so a pod booked back-to-back is fresh at the start of each meeting.

Integrated LED lighting and USB-C charging inside a FocusPod
02

Lighting that works on camera

Dimmable LED with adjustable colour temperature, plus Australian outlets and USB-A and USB-C inside. Half of what a meeting pod is used for is video calls, and lighting decides how those look.

Aluminium frame and full-glass magnetic door
03

Glass door, sealed properly

Full-glass magnetic-close door with a gasket seal on a precision aluminium frame. Visual transparency so the room stays connected to the floor, without the acoustic penalty of a badly sealed door.

Occupancy sensor lighting in a FocusPod booth
04

Occupancy sensing

Lights on when someone walks in, off eight minutes after the last movement. Useful in a pod that sits empty between bookings.

What customers say

Named, with permission
Duo · Perth

★★★★★

“We mainly use the Duo for candidate interviews and private staff discussions. It is comfortable for two people and creates a much more professional environment than trying to hold interviews at an open desk. It has quickly become one of our most useful office spaces.”

James Wilson
Meridian Recruitment

Duo · Brisbane

★★★★★

“The FocusPod Duo is perfect for one-on-one meetings, performance reviews and confidential conversations. It gives us privacy without requiring a full-size meeting room, and it fits neatly into the office without making the space feel crowded.”

Natalie Evans
North & Co Accounting

Team · Melbourne

★★★★★

“The narrow footprint was the main reason we selected the FocusPod Team. We had a long section of unused floor space but not enough width for a conventional meeting room. The pod fitted the area perfectly and gave us a proper team meeting space without changing the entire office layout.”

Adam Foster
UrbanForm Architects

Team · Perth

★★★★★

“Most of the larger office pods we looked at were too wide for our floorplan. The FocusPod Team gave us the seating capacity we needed while fitting along a narrow wall. It has helped us turn an awkward area into one of the most frequently used spaces in the office.”

Lauren Hayes
Western Project Partners

Meet · Sydney

★★★★★

“We use the FocusPod Meet for client appointments and video conferences almost every day. It gives us a quiet, professional setting and prevents clients from having to sit in the middle of a busy open office. The finish also matches our workplace extremely well.”

Thomas Reed
Eastpoint Legal

Meet · Gold Coast

★★★★★

“Our meeting rooms were constantly booked, especially when staff needed somewhere quiet for video calls. The FocusPod Meet has solved that problem. It is spacious enough for client discussions but still compact enough that we did not sacrifice a large amount of office space.”

Jessica Morgan
Brightside Media

Max · Adelaide

★★★★★

“We considered constructing another meeting room, but the cost and disruption were difficult to justify. The FocusPod Max gave us the enclosed space we needed without weeks of building work. It feels like a permanent room inside, while still giving us flexibility if the office layout changes.”

Christopher Hall
Summit Engineering Group

Max · Brisbane

★★★★★

“The FocusPod Max was a far simpler option than building a new boardroom. We avoided construction delays, approvals and permanent changes to the tenancy, while still gaining a high-quality meeting space. It has become our main room for team meetings and client presentations.”

Common questions

Asked by real buyers

How much does a meeting pod cost in Australia?

Meeting pods cost from $10,695 ex GST for a two-person pod, $11,695 for a two-person Team, $12,995 for a four-person Meet and $14,995 for a six-person Max. All include free delivery Australia-wide. Professional installation is optional, from $1,295 to $1,795 ex GST.

How many people fit in a meeting pod?

Two to six, depending on the model. A Duo takes two people comfortably, a Team also seats two but in a long narrow footprint, a Meet takes four around a table, and a Max seats six for board meetings and workshops.

Is a meeting pod cheaper than building a meeting room?

Compare itemised quotes for the same capacity and intended use. Include pod furniture, installation and any site work, and compare them with the room’s construction, services and lease requirements. There is no universal building cost or installation time.

What size meeting pod fits a narrow space?

Team has a listed external footprint of 2300 × 966 mm and seats two people. Compare its usable internal layout with Duo, then allow for the door, ventilation, installation access and clear circulation around the pod.

Do meeting pods have ventilation good enough for four people?

Meet has adjustable ventilation listed at 0–218 m³/h. It draws air from the surrounding room. Assess the fan setting, room conditions, occupancy and meeting duration for your use; ventilation is separate from refrigerated air conditioning.

Can you fit a screen or TV in a meeting pod?

Plan the display, camera and microphone positions with the furniture layout. Confirm the selected screen mount, weight limits, power and cable routing in your quote. Screens and meeting equipment are not automatically included.

Do meeting pods need council approval?

Requirements depend on the site and proposed installation. Confirm the pod position with your building manager or landlord, and ask the relevant council or building certifier whether approvals are needed before ordering. Include floor loading, access, fire services and ventilation in the site review.

How heavy is a meeting pod?

Net pod weights are 442 kg for Duo, 504 kg for Team, 635 kg for Meet and 852 kg for Max. Packed weights include freight packaging. Floor suitability requires a site-specific assessment of the pod, furniture, occupants and support locations.

Choose by seating layout

For two people, compare Duo and the narrow Team. For four people around a shared table, use the four-person meeting pod guide, including Meet dimensions, furniture and access checks. For five or six attendees, compare the Max.

Capacity is a starting point, not a furniture plan. Check usable table space, door access, equipment and circulation for the way your group will use the pod. For group learning spaces, see study pods for education and libraries.
