FocusPod / United Kingdom
Ready at the receiving point.
Bring the address, access, handling and building requirements together before a shipment is booked.
The correct delivery details
Include the full postcode, receiving hours and any loading restrictions. Northern Ireland, islands and other routes needing additional arrangements are assessed individually before a delivery commitment is made. Include a receiving contact who understands the arrangements and can be reached on the day.
A route that has been checked
Record the loading point, handling route, lift size and load limit, door widths, turns and final floor location. Share restrictions early, including after-hours access or special lifting requirements.
One written scope
Check that freight, clearance responsibilities, applicable duties and taxes, unloading, internal handling, assembly and packaging removal are included or clearly allocated. Delivery to a loading area does not automatically include an upstairs installation.
The space ready to receive
Confirm the position, available power, access bookings and the person coordinating the installer. Keep the receiving and installation arrangements aligned with the agreed delivery window.
A careful receiving record
Inspect packaging and accessible components, photograph visible issues and note them with the carrier. Keep the packing and delivery details while the shipment is checked. Contact FocusPod with the order reference if parts are missing, damaged or different from the agreed configuration.
A space of your own
