A floor plan is only the beginning.
The pod needs to fit its final position—and the route that gets it there. Use these checks before signing off your configuration.
Draw more than the footprint
Mark the exterior on your plan, then add space for door swing, assembly, ventilation and servicing. Check furniture and working clearances inside. Confirm final drawings before making irreversible changes to the room.
Walk the receiving route
Measure doors, corners, corridors and lifts. Packages may need a different route from the assembled pod, and handling is part of the project. Check receiving hours, load limits, access bookings and responsibility for moving components after unloading.
Put equipment on the plan
Show the intended power connection and any screen, desk or cooling equipment. Optional cooling adds 350 mm to the base pod height and changes equipment requirements. Have a suitably qualified professional assess any building electrical work.
Use the actual site details
Include the full postcode, receiving hours and any loading restrictions. Northern Ireland, islands and other routes needing additional arrangements are assessed individually before a delivery commitment is made.
Keep the responsibilities clear
Your project record should identify the configuration, site responsibilities, delivery point and installation scope. The facilities team checks building requirements; the approved specification defines what is supplied. Keep both with the quotation.
