The setting
The organisation behind this Manly installation works in water and coastal engineering, including modelling, monitoring and data collection. Its work connects office-based analysis with practical field operations.
The customer wanted a room within a warehouse that could serve several purposes: office work, meetings and staff breaks.
The pod
The selected configuration was a FocusPod Max with air conditioning. Its larger enclosed interior was chosen around the intended mix of uses.
The installation photographs show the pod on the warehouse floor, with a white exterior, glass frontage and an unfurnished interior at the time of photography.
The detail
Air conditioning was a specific part of this installation. The interior photographs also show the lighting and controls.
The brief was for a flexible room rather than a single-purpose workstation. The open interior gives the customer room to arrange the space around office work, meetings and staff breaks.
