Office pods in Birmingham

We have installed acoustic office pods across Birmingham and the West Midlands, with insured installers and out-of-hours scheduling where your building requires it. Every price is on the page, so you can work out the budget before you speak to anyone. Build the specification you want and we will confirm freight, installation and the complete project price for your address.

Six models, one configurator

Every FocusPod has a glass front and rear, built-in wheels and adjustable levelling feet.

Birmingham buildings, and what they mean for delivery day

Most Birmingham pod projects land in one of three kinds of building, and they are not the same job. Colmore Business District and the Snow Hill and Paradise developments are largely modern towers with a service yard, a bookable goods lift and a building manager who wants the paperwork in before anyone arrives. Those are straightforward, provided the delivery slot and the lift are reserved in advance, which we arrange with your facilities team rather than turning up and hoping.

Brindleyplace and the Jewellery Quarter are a different proposition. A good deal of that stock is converted Victorian and industrial building: excellent offices, and often one small, slow goods lift shared with every other tenant. We check the internal dimensions and the weight limit against the packed components before a date is agreed, because the assembled pod and the flat-packed pallet travel very differently.

Out at Solihull, Blythe Valley and the Fort Dunlop and Aston corridor you are mostly looking at low-rise business-park stock with level access and loading right outside the suite. That is the easiest version of this job and it tends to come together quickly.

The one genuinely local thing to settle early is the Clean Air Zone covering the city centre inside the A4540 ring road. It affects which vehicle the delivery goes on and what it costs to bring it in, so we plan the route around it at quotation stage rather than passing you a surprise afterwards.

What we need to quote your Birmingham project properly

Five things, and they take a minute to send. The full address including the floor and unit. Whether there is a loading bay or service yard, or the vehicle unloads from the street. The goods lift's internal dimensions and weight limit, if the pod is not going on the ground floor. Your building's receiving hours, and whether deliveries or contractors have to be booked or pre-registered. And a name and number for whoever will meet us on the day.

Send those with your enquiry and your order comes back with the real installation scope rather than an allowance that changes later. If you are not sure about the lift, say so and we will work it out with your building management.

Installation in Birmingham

Our installers are insured, and we will provide whatever documentation your building management or estate asks for before anyone arrives at the loading bay. Where a building only allows deliveries outside business hours, we schedule around it: evenings and weekends are normal for us rather than an exception you have to negotiate.

A pod is assembled in a morning. Two people can do it with the tools supplied if you would rather handle it in house, and installation is priced as a separate line so you can see exactly what it costs either way. If your site sits outside the metro, we use vetted local contractors and the service and the standard stay the same.

Lead time

Pods are made to the configuration you approve, and the current indicative lead time is around four weeks from a confirmed order, with delivery and installation scheduled on top. Your order summary confirms the production, shipping and installation window for your address. If you have a date to hit in Birmingham, tell us at the enquiry stage and we will be straight with you about whether it works rather than letting you find out late.

Every model, priced

No quote needed to see what a pod costs. Furniture and installation are separate lines so you can see what each part adds.

What is included as standard

Every FocusPod arrives with laminated glass front and rear, layered acoustic insulation, adjustable ventilation, dimmable LED lighting with adjustable colour temperature, power and an occupancy light. Speech level reduction is laboratory tested at greater than 29 dB under ISO 23351-1, the international standard written specifically for pods. Every pod is covered by our five-year structural and electrical warranty.

There is no separate charge for the black or white exterior or for the standard interior palette. Other exterior colours use the displayed upgrade price, and a custom interior colour is priced per pod. All of it is listed separately as you build, so nothing arrives as a surprise on your order.

See it properly before you decide

Take a look inside. The film below walks through the Solo, the most compact model in the range, and the 3D configurator lets you turn any model around, change the finishes and try the furniture layouts. If you would rather be walked through it, we will do a live video walkthrough of the pod you are considering and answer questions as we go.

Questions from Birmingham buyers

Do you deliver and install in Birmingham?

Yes, across Birmingham and the West Midlands. Send the full address and the access details with your enquiry and we will confirm the delivery and installation plan and the complete project price before anything is payable.

Can you deliver outside business hours?

Yes. Plenty of buildings only allow deliveries in the evening or at weekends, and we schedule around whatever your building requires. Tell us the receiving window at the enquiry stage and it goes into the plan.

Are your installers insured?

Yes, and we will provide the documentation your building management asks for ahead of the delivery. If your building or estate has a specific form or registration process, send it to us and we will complete it.

What if the goods lift is too small?

We check the lift's internal dimensions and weight limit against the packed components before a date is agreed, not on the day. Where the lift will not take it, we look at the stair route and price that properly, or recommend a smaller model that will fit.

What if we are outside Birmingham?

We use vetted local contractors for sites outside the metro area and the service and the standard stay exactly the same. Tell us the address and it goes into the plan.

Can I see one before I order?

Yes. Turn any model around in the 3D configurator, watch the product films, and if you would like to be walked through it, we will do a live video walkthrough of the pod you are considering and answer questions as we go. Send us the room dimensions beforehand and we will talk through how it fits.

Are the front and rear both glass?

Yes. Every FocusPod has glass at both the front and rear. Standard glass is clear. Optional PDLC privacy glass can be selected for the front only or for both the front and rear.

Can I move the pod once it is installed?

Yes. Every FocusPod has built-in wheels and adjustable levelling feet. Raise the feet to move the pod on its wheels, then lower and adjust them to level the pod in its new position.

Start with your room

Measure the space, count the people who will use it, and build the configuration. It takes a few minutes, no payment is needed, and you will have a real number to work with. Send us the access details at the same time and your order comes back complete.
