Hire
Pods for a week, a month, or one busy Thursday.
Event hire for expos and activations, and monthly rental for projects. Short-term only — anything longer and we will tell you to buy one instead.

We hire pods two ways: all-inclusive event hire for expos, conferences and activations, and monthly rental up to about six months for projects, pop-ups and teams waiting on a fitout. Both include delivery, installation and pack-down by our own team. We do not offer long-term hire — beyond six months, buying costs less and works better, and we will tell you so rather than take the rental.
Event hire
Expos, conferences, activationsA pod at an event solves the thing every organiser eventually runs into: there is nowhere quiet. Media interviews get done in a corridor, sponsors take calls in the car park, and anyone who needs five minutes away from the noise has nowhere to go.
Event hire is quoted as one all-inclusive number, covering delivery to the venue, positioning and assembly, testing, and pack-down and collection afterwards. No separate freight line, no assembly charge on the day.
Interview and podcast booths
Acoustically treated and ventilated, so recorded audio is usable. Blackout or privacy wrapping available where the interior needs to be unseen on camera.
Private meeting space on the floor
Somewhere to close a conversation without walking a prospect out of the hall. Frosted glass where the conversation is confidential.
Quiet rooms and parents rooms
A genuinely under-served requirement at conferences. One booth handles calls, feeding, prayer, sensory breaks and anyone who just needs the volume to stop.
We handle bump-in and bump-out directly with venue operations, including dock booking, lift access and floor protection. Tell us the venue, your bump-in window and your bump-out time and we will work to it.
Monthly rental
Projects, pop-ups and try-before-you-buyMonthly rental runs up to about six months and suits three situations. A project team in a temporary space. An office waiting on a fitout or a lease. And teams who want to know whether pods actually get used before committing capital to six of them.
That last one is worth taking seriously. The failure mode with pods is not that they perform badly, it is that they go in the wrong place on the floor and nobody uses them. A month of rental answers that question cheaply. If you then buy, we credit the rental you have already paid against the purchase price.
What your quote depends on
No two hires are the sameWe quote each hire on the job rather than off a rate card, because the variables move the number more than the pod does. Give us these five and you will have a fixed, all-inclusive figure quickly.
Dates
A single-day activation and a five-day expo are different jobs. Availability matters more than anything else — the hire pool is small and event dates cluster.
Model and quantity
A one-person booth or a four-person meeting pod, and how many. Two of the same model is usually better value per unit than one.
Location and venue
Metro or regional, and whether the venue has dock and lift constraints. Some venues add real time to bump-in.
Term
Days, weeks or months. Longer terms cost less per week, and a rental that converts to a purchase has the rental credited against the price.
Finish and extras
Standard, or wrapped and branded. Frosted or blackout vinyl where the interior needs to be unseen, and furniture to suit the use.
What is always included
Delivery, positioning, assembly, testing, pack-down and collection. One number, no separate freight or assembly charge on the day.
Tell us the dates and the venue and we will come back with an all-inclusive figure, usually the same day.
Hire or buy?
We will tell you honestlyWe offer two hire products and no others. Anything longer than about six months, we will point you at buying instead — not out of principle, but because it is the better outcome and the arithmetic is not close.
| How long | What we offer | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 1–14 days | Event hire | All-inclusive. We deliver, build, test, pack down and take it away. Nothing left on your hands |
| 1–6 months | Monthly rental | Projects, pop-ups, waiting on a fitout, or testing whether pods get used before committing capital |
| Beyond 6 months | Buy one | Cumulative rental starts overtaking the purchase price, and you end up having paid for a pod you do not own |
| A year or more | Buy, definitely | We do not offer hire at this length. You would be paying substantially more than the pod costs |
If you rent and then buy, we credit the rental you have already paid against the purchase price. That is the intended path for anyone unsure whether pods will get used, and it is why a month of rental is a sensible way to find out.
If you are already leaning toward buying, the buyers guide covers what to compare and the full range and prices are published openly. For a single-person booth see phone booths, or meeting pods for two to six people.
What arrives on the day
No self-assemblyWe confirm access before the date
Dock, lift dimensions, corridor width, floor protection requirements and your bump-in window. Packed pallets are 1270 mm tall and up to 2650 mm long, which is the measurement venues most often need in advance.
Our team delivers and assembles
Positioned, assembled and tested on site. Lighting, ventilation and power all working before we leave. You do not touch a tool.
We pack it down and take it away
At the time you nominate, in your bump-out window. Included in the quote, not an extra.

Bump-in, bump-out and the things venues ask
LogisticsMost of what goes wrong with event hire is access, not the pod. Venues want to know three things before they will let anything onto the floor, and having the answers ready is the difference between a smooth bump-in and standing at a dock at 6am.
Packed dimensions. A one-person booth ships on a pallet 2310 × 570 × 1270 mm. Larger models go up to 2650 mm long. That length is the number venues and lifts care about, not the assembled height.
Weight. Between 290 kg and 852 kg assembled, depending on model. Venue operations will ask, and some floors and travelators have limits.
Power. One standard 10A outlet per pod. No three-phase, no special provisioning, no electrician on standby.
Dock and lift booking
We deal with venue operations directly on access windows, dock allocation, lift bookings and floor protection. You give us the bump-in window, we work to it.
Where it goes
A rough position on the floor plan and the clearest route from the dock. Send it early and we will flag anything that will not work before it becomes a problem on the day.
Common questions
Asked by real hirersHow much does it cost to hire an office pod in Australia?
Hire is quoted per job rather than off a rate card, because dates, model, quantity, venue, term and finish all move the number. Every quote is all-inclusive, covering delivery, installation, the pod itself and pack-down, with no separate freight or assembly charges. Send us the dates and the venue and we will come back with a fixed figure, usually the same day.
What is included in an event pod hire quote?
Delivery to the venue, positioning and assembly on site, testing, and pack-down and collection after the event, as a single all-inclusive figure. Frosted or privacy vinyl can be included where the booth is being used for confidential conversations or recording. There are no separate freight or assembly charges.
How far in advance should I book a pod for an event?
As early as you can. The hire pool is small and event dates cluster, so a specific model on a specific week is often the constraint rather than the price. Four to six weeks ahead is comfortable; anything inside two weeks depends entirely on what has come back from the previous job.
Can you deliver to a convention centre?
Yes. We handle bump-in and bump-out directly with venue operations, including dock booking, lift access and floor protection requirements. Tell us the venue, your bump-in window and your bump-out time and we will work to it.
Can I hire a pod as a podcast or interview booth?
Yes, and it is one of the more common event uses. The booth is acoustically treated and ventilated, so it works for recorded interviews and podcast activations. Blackout or privacy vinyl wrapping is available where you need the interior unseen.
Is it cheaper to hire or buy an office pod?
Hire is the right answer for events and for anything up to about six months. Beyond that, buying costs less and we will say so — we do not offer long-term hire. If a rental converts to a purchase we credit the rental already paid against the price.
Can I hire a pod and then buy it?
Yes, and it is the intended path. If a rental converts to a purchase we credit the rental already paid against the price. It is how we would rather handle anyone unsure whether pods will get used — a month of rental answers it, then you buy.
Do you offer long-term pod hire?
No. We hire for events and by the month up to about six months. Beyond that the cumulative rental starts overtaking the purchase price and you end up having paid for a pod you do not own, so we point people at buying instead. Rental already paid is credited if you convert to a purchase.
Do you hire pods outside the capital cities?
Yes, though it depends on the dates and the logistics. We deliver Australia-wide from the Gold Coast. Regional event hire is usually workable with enough notice — tell us the location and dates and we will tell you honestly whether it stacks up.
Got a date and a venue?
Tell us the dates, the venue and roughly what you need the pod for. We will confirm availability and send an all-inclusive number, usually the same day.
